White Marlin are also one of the species, that can appear when fishing off Lobito. The best time is when the water is cooler at the beginning and end of the fishing season. December to February being the best time and again in late April and May when the waters start to cool again. These colourful small Marlin, are acrobatic fighters and put on a tough fight for their size when hooked on light tackle. Their appearance off Lobito means there is the potential for catching a 3 billfish Grand Slam.
